The economic and humanitarian situation in Yemen has been deteriorating for more than a year and a half of the armed conflict, as most of Yemeni families need humanitarian aid and Yemenis in need of help are approximately 21 million out of 26 million, with an average of 80% of the population. The estimated number of the displaced people is nearly 2.8 million, who are living in difficult humanitarian and economic conditions. Meanwhile, the international organizations access is limited to target those affected people and to provide aid to alleviate their suffering. This report targets six Yemeni governorates (Sana'a, Taiz, Aden, Hodeidah, Marib and Hadramout) and summarizes the security, economic, humanitarian and health situation. It also summarizes the prices of basic commodities and availability of basic services such as water, electricity, oil derivatives and health services. It also deals with foreign currency rates against the Yemeni riyal.
